I intended for this to be used as a background on my computer so I wanted to extend out into the blurred background.&lt;/p&gt;

McKee-Beshers Wildlife Management Area - located in Poolesville, MD late July. I wanted to make the yellow really stand out. My main focus was to make it feel as though the flower is right in front of you by bringing out the yellows and reds. I also wanted to make the water pop out.&lt;/p&gt;

My husband wandered up the trail while I was swapping lenses and I snapped this. I tried to emphasize the light coming through the trees onto the trail.&lt;/p&gt;

is home to several sunflower fields in midsummer. Many bees were out early in the morning. One of the first times getting shooting experience 
with DSLR and enjoyed doing macro photography with the bees.&lt;/p&gt;
